Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information we collect when you use proxy.sb, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 29 May 2026

proxy.sb ("proxy.sb", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website and customer platform at proxy.sb (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle personal information when you visit the site, create an account, purchase proxy services, or contact us.

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you register, we collect a username and a password (stored using a one-way password hash). Email is optional and used only if you provide it — for example for password recovery or service-related messages.

You may optionally add a company name in your account settings.

Service and usage data

We process information needed to deliver the Service, including your account balance, proxy package purchases, bandwidth usage, generated proxy credentials (stored in encrypted form where applicable), API key metadata (prefix and usage timestamps, not the full secret after creation), support tickets, and notification preferences.

Payment information

Deposits are processed in cryptocurrency through our payment partner. We do not store your private keys or full card details. We may retain transaction references such as invoice identifiers, amounts, status, and timestamps so we can credit your balance and maintain financial records.

Technical and security data

Like most online services, we automatically collect certain technical data, including IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this for security, fraud prevention, rate limiting, debugging, and improving reliability.

We use essential cookies and similar technologies for authentication sessions and CSRF protection. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the Service.

2. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
  • Authenticate you and manage your account;
  • Process deposits, purchases, renewals, and usage metering;
  • Send transactional emails (such as password resets or deposit confirmations) when applicable;
  • Respond to support requests and enforce our terms;
  • Monitor for abuse, security incidents, and violations of acceptable use;
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

3. Legal bases (EEA, UK, and similar regions)

Where data protection laws require a legal basis, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Service you requested); legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and improving the Service); consent where you opt in to optional communications; and legal obligation where applicable.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with:

  • Service providers who help us run the Service (for example payment processing, email delivery, hosting, and infrastructure), under contractual obligations to protect your data and use it only for our instructions;
  • Authorities or third parties when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of proxy.sb, our users, or others;
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy or equivalent protections.

5. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we take steps designed to ensure appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

6. Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal, tax, or accounting requirements. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period.

7. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the Service, including encrypted credentials at rest, hashed passwords, httpOnly session cookies, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you are responsible for keeping your password and API keys confidential.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, and to data portability or withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

You can update profile information in your account settings. To exercise other rights, contact us at support@proxy.sb. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
